Branch Manager

Magnum Search Group has partnered with a market-leading dealer of construction, mining, and forestry equipment. We are looking for a Branch Manager for their locations in Terrace and Houston, BC. This company has deep roots with a long track record of success.‚Äč

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Regional Manager for Northern BC, the Branch Manager will provide overall strategic and tactical direction and support to sales, service, and parts operations within the assigned region to meet a variety of key performance indicators. This individual will provide the leadership to create a successful and healthy team while enhancing the customer experience.

Job Description:

Major Job Functions:
  • Take a collaborative approach with the regional operations and all teams and corporate support team to identify and create unrivaled business solutions for our customers and employees
  • Responsible for the day-to-day leadership of a variety of staff including management, sales, and operational employees.  This includes but is not limited to the recruitment and selection, orientation, coaching and mentoring, performance feedback, and supporting growth and development opportunities
  • Accountable for being the ambassador of the company with the customers and building relationships with the customers and the community within the assigned region
  • Accountable for the safety performance of the branch
  • Meet or exceed specified key performance indicators for the branch and/or region
  • Accountable for providing a safe work environment and providing safety leadership to all levels within your branch/region.  Ensuring the implementation of all safety initiatives and compliance with safety programs and policies to achieve world-class safety in the workplace
  • Accountable for talent management for all levels of employees within your branch/region
  • Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner and maintain effective relationships with internal and external departments and staff while maintaining confidentiality
  • Responsible for the effective human resources management of staff and to foster an effective work environment which successfully contributes the achievement of the business goals and objectives for the company and the work unit
